How to Add Old Chapters to My New Subject / Course?

There is a right sidebar settings when you are in Builder Tab. You may add your older chapter or topic by searching the title of that chapter or topic and click “Add” when you see a relevant content.

Please note that the old chapter will be added as last chapter, while the old topic will be added to the chapter selected.

Talk More About Subject Prerequisites

While it is an optional setting, adding Subject Prerequisite is not recommended in most cases, or even worse, it is sale killing. Unless you really need this setting to force users to enroll all or at least one of the Subject Prerequisites, we do not recommend you to do so. Both upsells and cross-sells work better than prerequisites.

Humans are hard wired to the path of least resistance.

Many researches that study the human nature of choosing an easier path have been done and I believe you have heard of it, or at least you aware of this human nature when you decided to start your content creation journey with us, but fortunately you stick to your decision. We glad to see you make it.

That might be a different story though when a user is willing to pay you for the content that you created but s/he is told to buy some other content(s) prior to this. The user might be ending up looking for substitution of your content as s/he sees an obstacle before s/he sees your content. S/he then looks for alternative that there is no obstacle and if s/he finds an alternative, you lose a sale; if s/he doesn’t find an alternative, you still stand a chance to lose a sale if s/he gives up.

What matters the most when it comes to teaching and learning?

Despite the human nature that we discussed above, we tend to lose sight of what really matters when we are too focus on creating content – Can students understand and apply the lesson takeaways? It looks rhetorical and idealistic in some sort but isn’t it matters the most?

Students rate your subject / course based on how they feel and what they get after complete your subject / course. It would be more rewarding if we focus on making sure all our students get what they want after they complete our subject / course, so we will have more happy students, more returning students, and our brand will be more recognizable.

Yes, we would have different reasons to start off our content creation journey, like earning side income, promote your brand, etc and we thank you for choosing us. But when it comes to marketing, the key is the value of your product and does the money spent worthy. More specifically, what can your student get and does your content worth that amount of money are everything your student will think upon completion.

Confusion once said, “A craftsman should sharpen his tools to do his job.”, sharpen your content, make your content informative and leave other troubles to us.

Create A Click-to-Scroll (aka Anchor) Button or Hyperlink

You may have noticed that there were tons of click-to-scroll links in this page, and you might want to apply this technique in your contents. So here’s how.

There are two steps and it is quite easy

  1. a link or a button for users to click
  2. a 50px height /spacer block with HTML anchor so website will scroll to the /spacer block when a user click the link or button

Lets add a 50px height /spacer block, as shown in this image

Click-to-scroll button (click here for setup image)

Click-to-scroll link (click here for setup image)

Link

Now every time users click the Test Button or the Link, they will be redirected to the 50px height /spacer block that have a HTML anchor test-anchor attached to it.
